The ability to Undo a file operation in the Windows Explorer has always been a great convenience, but it really needs to display a confirmation dialog explaining exactly WHAT it is that'll get reverted :) to avoid confusing situations like doing a casual file rename somewhere then noticing a mysterious Undo option on the Desktop's menu hours later..
The information that's displayed in a folder window's status bar is not enough; it's not always visible and sometimes it'll not have anything to say about an Undo operation.

Undo in Windows Explorer - More verbosity
You should see some changes in this area in the next CTP, a lot of folks have complained about how different Windows Explorer operates. Lets hope we see some changes for the better. -- Andre Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta FAQ for MS AntiSpy http://www.geocities.com/marfer_mvp/FAQ_MSantispy.htm

I totally agree Adahn; there are some times where I accidentally copy files when selecting multiple files, and when I undo, it deletes those new files. But sometimes you can do it without noticing and then things get confusing, so yeh, maybe not a dialog box as such... but maybe a new dialog that has a selection of previous undo's, so you can undo copying all those files as well as creating that new folder 5 minutes ago :op
Hope that hasn't gotten anyone baffled :o)
